And Underground 2 in my opinion was the transition to a brand new style. Never saw so much car customization until today. I just played through then played again in hard mode and then Simply, Underground 1 gauges to Underground 2 Need for Speed Mods. NFSMods is a website that hosts Need for Speed mods, you can download mods and upload your own. Need for Speed Underground, when launched in 2004, meant a new turn to the game saga's focus. Shortly after that, as an answer to its massive success, the sequel Need for Speed Underground 2 appeared, offering the same formula: illegal races at full speed around the streets of a city that is full of obstacles handling tuned cars. It is the PSP equivalent of Need for Speed: Underground and Need for Speed: Underground 2 and follows a very similar gameplay style. However, there is no plot involved in this game. Need for Speed Underground 2 holds a special place in the hearts of Need for Speed fans. It’s a game that has fan videos crying out for a remake, and even though the licensing issues surrounding Underground 2 would likely make any remake prohibitively expensive for EA, that doesn’t stop fans from dreaming.
