You have to be able to trace the rope either with your finger, a pencil or your imagination. You have to, at the beginning, trace the rope through the pulley system. When you reach a pulley, add the units at the pulley. Total all the units of tension that reach the load.
Not only does it protect the rope from dirt, dust, and moisture, but it also allows for easy transportation to and from climbing sites. Here’s how to properly use a rope bag for storage: 1. Choose a Suitable Rope Bag: When selecting a rope bag, consider factors such as size, durability, and additional features. Look for a bag that is spacious
The circumference of the rope needs to be the same size as the width of all 4 leather strips combined, in your case 1.5". Rope is usually measured in diameter, so if you use the Circumference = 2πr formula to solve for the diameter of a circle with a 1.5" circumference, you get a dimeter of .48". So a 1/2" diameter rope should work!
Securing the Clamps. With the clamps in position, use a wrench or pliers to tighten the screws or bolts on the clamp. Apply steady pressure to ensure a snug fit around the rope. Double-check the tightness to avoid any slippage, especially if you plan on using the rope for heavy loads.
The bag also had a rigid ring to hold the mouth open for easy feeding at the belay station. Of course, this required two bags per climbing team as one bag stayed at the belay, and one was carried by the leader up the next pitch. I designed the bag with ripstop nylon, a full length zipper and drawstrings at both ends.

Look for locking levers. To move big recliners with ease, find the back brackets on the outside or inside of the back frame. Lift the locking levers on both sides (you may need to use long-nose pliers) and slide the back straight up to remove it from the recliner. Always lift a recliner from the sides, not by the back or footrest.
